I like the art but the story seems rather weird and jumps around too much.
I want to think he's not a taxidermist because the "manager" didnt seem very shaken at all in th morning after going into the room itself.

After all he had no problem going to bed and falling asleep. God knows I would have stayed awake and smoked myself a cigar cardboard, and I dont smoke.

I understand that the "little" sister was affected by her big sister calling them dirty. I also understand she was referring tp "from eing on the truck" and that it caused a chism between them, but even so, the story feels a bit forced.

Why don't they just kill the "owner"? If you push someone down lots of stairs that can stagger someone easily. Something like a plank or similar also gives enough power to knock somebody else senseless even if they're much stronger than you. You have two people so killing him should definitely have been an option.
