Possible reasons for purging (or at least, the ones I've noticed):
- Old art they no longer want anyone to see

- Having moved on to other types of art (usually away from NSFW)
This one I can't really blame them for. NSFW art in your gallery attracts certain people while chasing others away.

- Artist has issues (possibly real life or with people on the site(s) they post) and may no longer have the time or desire to keep making art, so they just remove it all.

And of course, let's not forget: Artists are also humans. And thus they may very well just be assholes and delete it all for no discernible reason.

No clue what this artist's reason is though.

The purges are because he's Korean and the legality of pornographic material is kinda wonky there to say the least. Same reason Kunaboto dissapeared for a good while.
