I think that the Chaos Head anime really threw people off of liking Chaos Child. The VN is not popular enough these days for it to really have made a come back, either, which is a real shame.

The VN was released as a fucking xbone exclusive lol
It doesn't help that chaos head itself was incomplete until noah which was released after the anime, and the anime itself was rushed to shit because it was released in the same year as the VN even though it's literally their first sciadv title.

Chaos child had a potential to be a bigger hit than steins gate imo, they blew it hard.

Though I can't say the company completely did it dirty. Chaos child still received a bunch of voice dramas, fandisk, an epilogue novel, and a decent anime despite being rushed. Even if they stopped producing another chaos VN, I'd say it ended gracefully.
