When I see the Guro tag, I usually close the tab before even reading it as it is not for me, but I didn't for this one. I guess I unconsciously realized that it wasn't H Guro despite a very short view of the thumbnails.

I am not against dark mangas, with blood and similar, so I read it.

I can't like it, just... damn. I will feel bad for the rest of the day I guess.

But I cannot criticize the realization. It is a good work for sure, the artist did well despite only 10 pages. I will rate on that point.

So 830-3000 cGys of radiation causes disorientation within 3-10 min, and will persist until death (30 min to 10 hr). Neurological dysfunction like the one shown is a sign of victim having already received a super lethal dose of radiation. The two guys seems to be in level B/Type 2 protective gear (with SCBA, hence the tube connecting to the back), the oxygen in their back mounted tanks are usually good for 30 min (a lot less if wearer are doing any amount of work/physical activity besides walking). Given the amount of radiation (mainly alpha & beta radiation) still around to the point where all that fallout is still falling, the radius of the hot zone must have been pretty big. This being relevant only in the sense that those two must have walked a significant distance already (even assuming that they have an extraction team with extra bottle for hot swap in the warm zone, which is not proper procedure BTW).

Not sure what they would be doing given their lack of equipment, possibly a survey team (i.e. look around and report back the situation on the ground). Therefore we can conclude that this took place within 10 hours of what was most likely a detonation of a nuclear weapon.

Oh, and one last thing. They really shouldn't be having pistols or any kind of weapons, especially if their job is to simply looking around.
