Artists will now fill their pixiv galleries with "go to fanbox for full version" so you might as well not waste disk space, time and bandwidth (yes, including yours).
At least fanbox is fairly honest, so I've had no qualms supporting there so far. Artists who have tried to bypass the terms of use and refused to comply were permanently banned from it as well as pixiv itself by the pixiv administration. If you see stuff being removed from public view every month by someone, immediately report the artist. Yes, you can do it in English. They *must* include a higher tier for "older content", and if it has been done at any point, they can get in serious trouble. Which they don't want considering they're also advertising their cross-platform stuff, so pixiv will get a bit mad here.
Then there are the crazy tiers for "full access" that get changed to match the duration to essentially do the same thing. You can also report this semi-anonymously to have the pixiv administration send an electronic C&D to the artist so they either remove the tier or get banned, have their funds locked, and more if applicable.
With artists making a shit ton of money from random social tippings and SNS shitty Skeb commissions, don't feel sorry for them, they deserve some motivation to get back on track. A shame to see so many fall to this mindset, but now there's retribution to be had by leaking everything they have ever produced, including unavailable content.
tl;dr: If your cover is "go to <platform> for better stuff" this will attract comments like this. People essentially will stop paying completely on all platforms at some point, and judging by the comments, most already have stopped and just download the leaked content.
@notknow I almost missed the pun. Good one. To answer your question, one of us will let you know soon enough!
