Seems like the Princess got too greedy hmm. If she were more on top of her game, she would have sensed the mental instability of the hero and set him up with a fall-girl lol, as in his state I'm sure it would have been very easy to manipulate him. Then again, it seems like the princess is also inexperienced in matters of statecraft given that she abused the hero's power so openly. The rest is the standard NTR fare. Though it does seem like the Hero is surprisingly doing a great job at administering the Kingdom. The only one with a definitive bad end is the princess's ex-lover.

@blockend Given how the average generic fantasy kingdom is firmly in medieval (in theory, though often their aesthetics aren't) and Machiavelli is firmly in the renaissance, chances are that the average ruler in those places genuinely haven't thought of something that basic. Not to mention the average generic fantasy kingdom tends to be much dumber than their RL counterparts.
