I love how Shaua is expanding her influence by using her long life and position as a high class prostitute to gain connections and influence over the nobility from their children. Now that she has access to the prince her position is nigh unassailable and once enough of the anti-elf faction dies off she'll gain control of the kingdom from the shadows.
