Daz makes it really easy to make images. Skilled people can do some really nice stuff with it, but because there's such a low barrier to entry, you end up with a lot of people with no artistic skill making stuff that sits squarely at the bottom of the uncanny valley.

CG2324: Daz is basically a video game character creator, so through no fault of its own it's the collection point for people who lack the dedication to learn.
The pipeline goes from drawing to Blender because you can't draw and don't put in the effort to improve and Blender is free, then you realise that 3D modelling/sculpting is also hard and requires the same anatomical knowledge and its own technical skillset, then you get into Daz. It's useful for certain applications, sure, but it is also the meeting place of people who got filtered three times, from pencil to graphic tablet to Blender to Daz.
The good news is that Daz at least still requires some effort to get what you want, so people now have a new place to sink to if they get filtered by Daz, and destination they might go straight towards instead of going 3D in the first place: AI "art." And AI can be filtered on here, so rejoice!

I'm quite familiar with Daz's use. I work professionally in the 3d industry (been in it for 10+ years now). Not doing porn, or fucking around with Daz, but animation and the like. So I guess I'm one of those ones that made it past the filter. Unfortunately for me, however, that means that shit like this is under extra scrutiny from me due to my familiarity with the field. Like if you can't do ANY of it, I'm sure anything 3d looks like magic, but once you have a glimpse behind the curtain, 3d porn is fucking ruined. Like holy shit the stuff people can tolerate in porn animations is way beyond the pale for me. I guess ignorance really is bliss.
