Best you can probably do is filter the "rough translation" tag. I believe you can also filter based on rating, so you can filter low rating uploads.

MTLs often don't get rated low unless they're explicitly labeled by the uploader as being MTL, because for some reason you people seem incapable of noticing when the flow of a story makes no sense, or when the writing is stiff, bland and robotic. Something I can immediately tell by just... reading the words on the page, so many of you either don't notice or don't care, which leads to high ratings. It's very strange.

So no, filtering out low-rated galleries won't help, because the site seems to love MTL when the uploader pretends it's their own work.

@Daruna this illustrate so well how counterproductive the hate of mtl is on this site. First this prove that for the majority of users, it's not that big of a deal if they can't be bothered to simply see differentiate it from a regular translation. Second, this encourage people that do mtl to not tag their archives appropriately seeing how harshly they're punished if they do it.
