OP published a bunch of competent translations already, so unless they suddenly, for no reason, got lazy and went MTL way, it's just as they've stated and it's simply a case of not knowing pokemon specific autistic in-jokes and lingo. It's like a normal person got into speedrunning Souls games, and used human language instead of spedrunner terms like "zipping", "cumfart skip" or "double reverse prompt swap into holocaust glitch".

If you're just going to remove everything you don't know without even bothering to ask someone or even googling it, then that's just rewriting, not translation. They didn't even write that they didn't know, just a general "tell us if you find mistake".

I didn't read their previous translations but sorry, just this issue alone make me doubt if they're any good.
