@Tihtannia: Fantasy is not really meant to be realistic, unless you want it to.

Is this really 3D? I'm not downvoting the tag, but I'm not sure this qualifies. It looks like an artist might have used a modelling program for reference, but drew it themselves.

@Ramsutain: If that's true, then this is the best 3D I've ever seen. The highlighting, shading, etc. all look done by hand, or at least by a person. I'm not pretending I know anything about 3D modeling, drawing, or anything, but this looks leaps and bounds better than the other 3D renders I've come across.

@Tihtannia: It is 3D, done with Zbrush. The modeler sometimes broadcasting his work.

In the modeler's twitter, he says he does modeling with Zbrush.
