It's true, I'm not a fan of guro, but I don't see how it is any different than say any horror, or slasher movie where a couple having sex is butchered in gory detail. I think that some people think that sex and murder don't go together. Just turn on the evening news. They go together. You know what take out the porn elements and this could actually make a creepy set up for a horror manga/anime. A world in which there are giant beings tasked with defending humanity and "justice", but also use humans as a food source themselves. Imagine it, everyone in the world would be constantly paranoid and on edge at the idea of any sort of crime happening, because even if you get "saved' there's no garauntee you'd make it out alive. The human governments have no choice but to play along because they have no way of stopping them, or because there is another bigger threat that only the giants can contest with. And the giants' delusions that they are the good guys and are doing nothing wrong by eating people adds a creepy level of moral dissonance to the whole thing.
