I'm more inclined to believe she died from alcohol poisoning. Considering that she was bleeding from being raped, is a young girl who has a much lower tolerance for alcohol than an adult male, AND the alcohol was absorbed directly into her bloodstream rather than going to her stomach and liver first, I think that's more plausible than chemical burns.
Although I am by no means a doctor, it's just an educated guess.
