I'm not really one to argue realism in... porn(Does anyone actually jack off to this, or...?), but the military would have surely wiped them out, or at least tried to contain them. They kill people constantly, whether on purpose or not, and wreck expensive infrastructure vital for the continuation of law and order within the country. And yet, simultaneously, people are running in fear, dying under their feet, and acting normally within the same ten square yards. It's very weird...
I did find it quite cute at moments... The art itself isn't godly, but it works, and I like it...

Well... Reality is something you sorta have to let go of in Macrophilia. There's some works that attempt to maintain a closer relation to the real world than others, but at the end of the day it's not more likely than me waking up tomorrow with the ability to shoot mind bullets (that's telekinesis Kyle). That said I am a macrophile and for me, my enjoyment of the fantasy outweighs any dissonance from unrealistic concepts in the material.
