This is one case of a story going on for too long and losing it's novelty.

This was rather painful to read.

You feel really sorry for her throughout her ordeal, but still admire her somewhat for her resilience. Then, when she finally -- finally! -- manages to reach her happy ending, it's implied that the cycle will start all over again.

Props to Shouichirou, though. He did what he could to protect her, and married her in the end despite everything she went through. The world needs more men like him.

It seems the main problem was truly her mother. If she didn't try to chop her own kids dick off and treat Risa normally then Risa might have grown up with more self esteem instead of feeling like a freak. Couple that with being exposed in front of a class room by your teacher and you have a recipe for despair. Also as we saw with the last chapter, thank god she didn't go to her mother about the abuse when she was a child, who knows how that bitch would have reacted.

Risa was also quite a strong character, though she was a masochist and enjoyed the play, she could still differentiate between play she consented to and play that was forced on her. That why she never stopped hated her childhood torturers, but seems enjoy and encourage her treatment in later life. Still a broken person though. She was way too okay with listening to her tormentors when they commanded her to rape not just one, but two different people.

Shou was the only weird character here. It's like the writer forced him to act out of character, so the torture could continue after it was revealed to him. He went from a character that protected and looked out for Risa to someone that would just let some extreme abuse happen. Sure, her mother is fucking bonkers, but his parents totally could have helped if they were approached way sooner. And I do realize it is unfair to judge the actions of children. Especially when not even some adults know how to deal with bullying. And yeah I know, it's just porn in the end.

Also. What a fucked up world! Seriously, I get why the other kids avoided helping because we have an example of what helping out resulted in, but was there not one teacher that thought to step in and stop things? Was everybody just totally down to rape this dickchick?

It's weird how this story flip flops around. Everyone is a terrible person, the guy is pathetic and the girl isn't an innocent victim at all, yet bth still get a happy ending, some plot points just vanish one chapter after they are brought up, there's like 5 ending twists. Feels like the author never really knew where to take this. Story should have ended with the letter, imo.

Well... I hope that everyone that wanted a good ending is happy with it. As for me the happy ending turns away from the desires of the target audience that would have enjoyed the previous chapters. From a story standpoint and as a reader who enjoyed the main character, I am glad there was some resolution. But from the standpoint that this is porn and the readers typically do not put high import on realism or resolution, but instead care most about how the kinks and scenes are presented, these last chapters turned completely away from what appealed to the audience in the early chapters. What appealed to a lot that were reading this erotic fantasy was watching Risa be abused and struggle emotionally. That struggle is not really present in these chapters. There isn't even the illusion of Risa having an internal struggle between her desires for normality and her body and minds masochism anymore. Instead she has taken on an attitude of snark and brattyness that is unappealing to many who enjoyed her previous attitudes.

So it was nice to have some resolution, and it resolved fairly well. But it was no where near as sexy as the previous chapters despite the kinks being ramped up, and the cause of this is the change in attitude and focus due to trying to steer towards a happy ending. As for the plot jumping all over the place, that's what you get when you take a highly sexualized fantasy situation and try to fit in all the myriad possible endings that so many different audiences would want.

So the reason that these ending chapters likely fall short of the beginning is because of all the pressures from the audience, and the author making the mistake of trying to cater to all of them. I'm not saying that there should not be happy endings. But I wish that the author had stayed true to the feeling he started out with, rather than trying to please everyone.

Also... all the slut shaming in the comments is just so boring and pathetic. Why take the time to masturbate to something only to give scathing social commentary after? It's fiction, porn, not real.
