9 - A few more images like this, and we might get the impression that Nightshade actually LIKES PATRICK or something.
14 - THERE! THAT'S how you show a guy getting sidelined, and LIKING IT! Is it really so hard to make Patrick SMILE as he's getting cucked? Come on...
37 - Aaaaand we're right back to Patrick being this bitch's bitch. If he gets a thrill out of her being with other guys, okay, fine, but if she's shooing him away so he can't enjoy it, what else are we supposed to get from that but "I don't want you around"?
robdollar - you do realize this is a work of fiction and you aren't required to sympathize or empathize with any of these porn comic characters, right? did you miss the multiple captions to suit whichever is your preference?
Do NTR-phobes get anywhere near this riled over guro/vore/rape? No. They don't. Why is that?
Women enjoying sex with multiple partners/swinging/cheating is particularly upsetting to these males because they 1). distrust or are afraid of women, so seeing women exercising open relationship freedom or cuckold play is especially triggering... 2). are massively insecure about their own sexual 'abilities' or attraction, terrified about having or maintaining an intimate relationship with a woman because they know deep down they probably can't 'keep' one. Keep being the operative term, in this context.
Yeah, okay... people voicing negative opinion about this shit are guilty of caring too much, but you voicing a negative opinion about other negative opinions, that's perfectly justified. When you read multiple stories with the same characters, you tend to become invested in them, something the creator actually WANTS to happen if he's going through the trouble of telling stories instead of just making pin-ups.
As for your 2nd point, I'd wager people don't get as riled over guro/vore/rape since it's pretty universally loathed by most people. If you had enough people making the case that fucking babies to death was perfectly fine and anyone objecting to it just needed to "get over their own insecurities" or whatever, that'd elicit far more objections.
And your 3rd point... try actually READING what people are complaining about instead of just insulting everyone with whom you disagree. Everyone who dislikes Patrick's relationship with Nightshade is because they enjoyed seeing him in his previous relationship with someone who very clearly cared about him, but with Nightshade, he just looks incredibly uncomfortable a good 90% of the time he's with her. Having an open relationship is one thing (said the guy who's involved with a woman working in the adult entertainment industry for over 5 years now, sorry (not really) to poke holes in THAT little theory of yours), but if an open relationship IS all that this is supposed to be, it's represented horribly. Again, if there was a LITTLE MORE material out there showing the two of them actually ENJOYING each other's company instead of Nightshade just tolerating him at best, there'd be fewer people saying "Come on! You can do better!"
