Yeah, okay... people voicing negative opinion about this shit are guilty of caring too much, but you voicing a negative opinion about other negative opinions, that's perfectly justified. When you read multiple stories with the same characters, you tend to become invested in them, something the creator actually WANTS to happen if he's going through the trouble of telling stories instead of just making pin-ups.

And your 3rd point... try actually READING what people are complaining about instead of just insulting everyone with whom you disagree. Everyone who dislikes Patrick's relationship with Nightshade is because they enjoyed seeing him in his previous relationship with someone who very clearly cared about him, but with Nightshade, he just looks incredibly uncomfortable a good 90% of the time he's with her.
