While the first 2 symbiotes seemed like they were mainly living suits, the 3rd one on Panel 17 must either be very unpleasant to wear or impossible to take off without serious injury - take a look at those legs, holy double amputee batman

Story Bits:
Rin came from a poor family, and grew up in the streets, ending up as part of a gang in the shadier parts of the city.
Street-smart, good with a knife and impetuous, Rin actually had a few run-ins with Maeve when she was a police officer.
*Haven't thought about how she turned yet, in a future comic, perhaps*
Rin was turned in an emergency without her consent. This, coupled with her quick temper and adrenaline rush from the change, led her to go on a murderous rampage.
Maeve had to go through great lengths to rein her in, eventually sealing Rin's mouth in an effort to keep her under control. While her mouth is sealed, Rin could only be fed by Maeve or Alex, forcing her to be dependent on them.
Eventually (a looong eventually), Rin regained her senses and was able to control her new form. Even so, her relationship with Maeve is strained at best.
She kept to herself for a long period after that, but the mental bond between Queen and Drone is not easily broken.

Artist's Note:
The character design is very much inspired by Carnage, and a likely homage to Marvel superhero aesthetics.
As an offensive-type drone, the transformed Rin is built for speed and agility. Her love for knifes translate into ceramic/bone claws, which can be freely manipulated due to her symbiote nature. She can slash with the claws in forward position, reverse them and slash again in the back stroke. The clawed tail serves to cover any blind spots in her attack range.
Speaking of blind spots, she doesn't have any. Her entire head is a sensory organ, with the lighter areas her visual receptors, clustered where her eyes are only due to habit. The two "feelers" above her shoulder are her "nose", providing additional sensory information for this very capable hunter.

The original 2 Comics and 2 character Designs are cool as 'living clothing' type symbiotes, but every new 'OC' the artist puts out goes more and more into impossible merged being territory and fits less and less with the material. Too bad.
