This isn't a rewrite -- I went through the first 10 pages comparing with the Japanese version and they're pretty much on point the whole way (or at the very least, miles better/well written than a lot of stuff out there.)

It doesn't hurt that this isn't like, super complicated Japanese outside of a few snarky lines...
