on page 5, isn’t “sea stew”/海シチュ supposed to be something like (lit.) “sea situation”?
so yeah, something like ”After all, this is the beach classic” “Suntan oil”

The fact that this is IDoitForTheGramm's first upload, had mistakes in it, decided to take feedback and fix all of it, as well as upload a higher quality gallery to boot, is nothing short but commendable!!!

The translation of that part on page 5 was indeed tricky. It says "海シチュー," literally "sea stew" combined with the katakana. The recipes I found use both this form with the kanji, and the full katakana form. Because it is a katakana transliteration of the English phrase "sea stew," it seemed like the artist was making a metaphor about the sun tan oil.

Not going to do the whole thing, but here's some notes on page 3.

"Hey, be nicer to me!" (this is very barebones, I would recommend something more like "Hey, wouldn't hurt you to be nicer to me!")
[This is Miyako speaking in the third-person, talking about how he just brushed off her attempt to be sexy in the previous panel.]

まったくもう…何人も雇うお金が美夜子にあると思う？
"Come on... Do you really think I have enough money to hire multiple people?"

Oh and the other person is right about how to translate 海シチュ. It's a shortening of situation, not シチュー.
With the full sentence including 定番, the translation should be closer to something like "After all, this is a vital part of visiting the sea..." or "Can't forget this when you're at the beach..."

Even if you really want to stick to your guns on the "stew" thing, it would be more correct to translate it as like "This is a key ingredient in 'sea stew.'"
That's getting a little quibbly, since changing "classic sea stew" to "key ingredient in sea stew" doesn't really affect the reading experience, but I thought it'd be relevant to point out just for your own interest.

hey cabbages, thank you for the notes! I definitely mistook those points of speaking on page 3. And I see now about "sea situation," that lack of elongation was the key for it to be the shortening of "situation" rather than full "stew." Thank you for your help!!
