This was normally meant for persons in regional/rural areas and in space. This power input was at the back of the helmet units and the incoming power supply could power up the power cell, but this would normally need a massive amount of power and this would be costly, and the person would notice this feature as they would see the power jack attached at the back of the unit, and, in game the power input would be monitored on line, in game and would be able to feed data to the user whilst online. Kenta had no intention of allowing anyone to know what he was doing, and also, he had no intention of allowing a power cell level to increase unless she specifically wanted it to happen. Kenta wanted the power to be able to do things to and with the helmet units, and to and with the people using them.
It just happens though, if a person were to open the panels of the helmet unit, (which is not too hard to do for cleaning and maintenance purposes), and to add one or more data chips, they could circumvent some monitoring and control features and add in external influences, external controls and external power supply.

at first Kenta tested this out in a small and basic way with a simple little solar power supply that he could plug in to increase power to Charlie or “Pauls” unit.

At the beginning, Kenta would have to physical be there to connect the cords himself, and the units would be able to retract the cords automatically, but he was working on a way for the cords to be able to activate, seek out, connect and provide power to the helmet units each and every time both of the users were on at the same time.
The first test trials went well, and he kept note of anything that went well and added this to a list of things he would alter feed in to give to Reggie & Eustace.
