5/4/2013 Renewal! So I was browsing around and saw a gallery where the commenters were complaining about a 'stripe' pattern in the scan. I looked and saw that it was the same exact pattern as what was in my NanoSca scan. Someone mentioned that it is a 'moire' pattern resulting from how color is printed professionally due to a 'screen' on the page. I did some research and some tests and here we are, a new version of the gallery that looks infinitely better! Unfortunately my cheapo scanner's descreen filter sucks (all it does is blur the image a little) but fortunately I know how to do it manually now. I'll see about maybe renewing my other full-color scans but for now NanoSca was really the worst one I had. Oh, and I corrected the orientation of page 28. Turns out I had it upside-down the first time around!

Thanks for the scan. Perhaps next time you're scanning color pages, activate the options to smooth colors (they're called descreen on Canon scanners IIRC)
