Umemaro is always excellent in matters of quality, including doujins. It's sadly that this isn't a movie, because the story, the situation and the girl are awesome. In fact, I think that some elements (seen in his previous movies) are better designed in this doujin.

Interestingly enough, we learn in picture 42 (the last panel to the left) that the girl is Sugimoto Shouko, the ultra-hot dark skinned doctor that appears in Umemaro's other works.

I really thought Umemaro was going to make some kind of animated comic like gimmix or something. Didn't expect him to cut out animation completely. Still excellent work though. He could make 6 to 12 a year like this.

There's very little difference in quality aside from no animation but it looks like Umemaro decided to land on a steady plateau that's somewhat lower than the rollercoaster they were on to make things more consistent.

While I understand it, looks like my plateau of umemaro has also been reached, no shame in it though, it's actually good to be consistent than to reach a peak and things move down low till the next BIG thing when you can release very good things and the lows are far and few in between.

Would I pay for the movies? Yes
Would I pay for the comics? Sadly...No.

It's a trade off in more ways that one so TRUE Umemaro fans will be what Umemaro is left with. It's actually pretty ingenious.

i know umemaro's movie takes time but they are most worth the wait besides there are a lot of 3D artist who makes 3D comics and umemaro was one of the few who makes mini-movies and it makes me sad he's wasting time in this but all the luck for him i hope he'll comeback to the be usual umemaro we all love and know for. T_T
