a bed that's just a huge slab of latex would be TERRIBLE. I mean, it's not going to be soft. there's going to be almost no give. it's elastic, that doesn't mean soft. plus, it's not going to pull any heat away from you. you're going to be laying on it, with all your body heat pushed right back up against you. and then you're going to sweat. and sweat doesn't soak into latex! it's just going to sit on the bed. you're just going to be laying on a hard slab, in a pool of sweat.
