A psychopath called OnTakashi has been waging a war against the doujinshi community (especially manga aggregator sites) for more than 3 years now. He's racketeering, which is illegal in the US.

His goal is to monopolize everything. He's using underhanded tactics to achieve this. He's constantly manipulating authors from Japan with lies and he'll trick them by claiming that "privacy is bad, trust me, those 300000 clicks on that download link could've been 300000 customers, you'll get rich if you listen to me" and when they fall for his scam and let him use their name, he'll use it to spam DMCA takedowns. By the way, that quote is actually what he tells authors from Japan.
He's truly obsessed with censoring others. Ironically, if you look at OnTakashi's tweets, you'll see him complaining about how awful censorship is.
The reason why he's successfully manipulating authors from Japan is because of the fact that a lot of Japanese authors don't believe in publicity at all. Without free publicity, nobody would've discovered their work, and they refuse to understand it.
Remember in 2013, when EU ordered a €360,000 study on how piracy affects sales, and it turned out that piracy BOOSTS sales, and they decided to never release the study and it's been withheld for nearly a decade now. Think about that for a minute.

You've probably never seen the name his before, but he was the "de facto president" of Genesis Translations, Phoenix Syndicate, Shikimaya, Enshodo and (currently) Irodori.
Just refer to him as OnTakahashi because that's his online handle. He's constantly creating a new company by closing the previous one. Real fucking suspicious.

Before he went legit, he used to run an illegal home business for translating hentai and he'd charge $20 per page. He'd take scans from other people and use it. And now he's waging a war against those people. "Don't bite the hand that fed you".

For the people asking why this isn't down yet, it's because doujinshi parodies are a separate kind of copyright, ontakashi could get in serious trouble if he starts dmcaing parodies because that would imply he holds the copyright to these franchises, which he doesn't. This is why he only DMCA's original works, because the copyright belongs solely to the artists he conned, ergo, to him.
