Okay so, I can't read japanese for shit. This translation is pretty much just a google translated version of the original that I have edited to the best of my abilities. This was just a personal project that I started because I figured that something as crazy as this wasn't likely to get a translation anytime soon. I just wanted some context for all of the fucked up shit that happens in this story. I'm sure that it is far from an accurate translation but I did my best to try and figure out all of the major story beats while taking a lot of liberties with the flow of the dialogue to make it sound more natural. I couldn't translate everything because the tech that I'm using can't work miracles and I'm no expert at photoshop either, so a lot of the SFX panels are left untouched. I think you can get the gist of what is happening based on the visuals and facial expressions though. Lots of gushing, burning, and screaming going on.

I would love it if someone could provide a better translation of this series but until that happens, I will continue to translate the rest of this story. I've never really made a translation before so I hope that everything is okay in terms of the font and stuff. Feedback is welcome because I will be starting on the second chapter soon and I will probably go back and edit the first chapter if anyone has any constructive criticism. On a similar note, if you have read the original and you want to correct some important dialogue or context, just leave a comment and I will edit it to be more accurate.

Regarding the why, as an example in the English title there's a word play that's been lost in translation; zankoku written with other kanji means "cruel". So that would make the title something like "Cruel Black Street Number Zero".

I definitely understand what you mean, JukanX. I'm just doing the best that I can with what I've got. I would be thrilled if someone decided to make a proper translation of this series but I don't know how many translators would be willing to touch this kind of subject matter. A lot of the nuance is definitely lost with machine translation and that is why I have edited the dialogue to sound more natural, even if it's less accurate as a result. I didn't bother with the title, simply because that is the english title that people will see when they use google or whatever to translate the original title. I figured that it might make it easier to search for but maybe I'll change it to better reflect the word play that you've pointed out.

As I translate each new chapter, I'll be revisiting the older ones with that additional context in mind and making edits to keep everything as consistent as possible. My main priority is making everything flow naturally (meaning... not just plugging in the exact machine translation and calling it a day) while still hitting all of the major story beats. I tried to add some personality to the characters, particularly in the way that they address each other. It might not be accurate but hopefully it captures the spirit of the original better than an awkward machine translation does.

I'm using the Google Lens app, DuctTapeMan. It's pretty tedious to read manga with it since the words are translated sideways, poorly, or not all all. Which is why I decided to make this gallery. Now I don't have to struggle with the app every time that I want to read this manga, haha.

Finished chapter 3! This one was a lot more difficult to translate, for a couple of reasons... It was a bit draining as a result so forgive me for any spelling or grammar mistakes that I might have made. I'll try to correct them when I upload the next chapter. Speaking of, the next two chapters are actually my favorites in the series so far. Chapter 3.5 was technically the first part of this series that was ever released but it takes place between chapters 3 and 4, chronologically. Chapter 4 is especially brutal and definitely my favorite so far. I'm looking forward to translating that one but unfortunately it has not been uploaded here yet. I'm hopeful that it will be uploaded at some point in January though. It will probably take a bit longer to get chapter 3.5 out since chapter 4 is not available yet and this last chapter took a lot of effort.

Finally finished chapter 3.5! This was technically the first work in this series and it was released in the final volume of EROGROS. The author decided to continue the series through the Ryona King publication. I call it chapter 3.5 because it takes place between chapters 3 and 4, chronologically. Chapter 4 is next and it is easily my favorite chapter in this series so far. It's also the most brutal, if you can believe that.

Meh, I'm not entirely sure about this series. I like ryona but I wish they would spend a little more time on the "opponents". Most chapters are about the MCs taking punishment and then turning the fight around and finishing them off with one move.
