In Uninhabited Island from Sanbun Kyoden the guy was taller and seemed like he could actually take care of her. In this adaptation comic he's a tiny shota manlet. This completely breaks the setting/suspension of disbelief.

Hey I_Want_It ! That's right, this comic was commissioned by a guy who wanted to remake that comic in 3D ! So yes, the title is the same because he wanted this to be a 3D remake of that same comic ! :)

Hey ReDe3m3r ! Unfortunately, the comic was to be about 100 pages and I could not include all the details you mentioned. However, I can try to give an answer to your questions.
1) Yes they want to leave, but having realized that on that island they can live and be together, they prefer to stay and ignore the radio.
2) On an island you can feed yourself by fishing or gathering the fruits of the island !

Hey Malkovik ! You are right, however I felt it was more likely to make a character who was younger since he was a schoolmate of the son ! However, I tried to make it clear that he is the "man" in that he takes care of her on the island. Anyway I thank you for the feedback !
