For her it was about having her boys stolen away because she was too much of a chickenshit to confess, or too naive to recognize her own feelings. She's depressed about losing them and self-medicating with vape nicotine. The author made very sure that was clearly visible (remember the general japanese outlook on drug use, even "legal" drugs, it's far more severely negative than western outlook, and in manga, vapes are used to make someone look trashy and broken - and cigarettes are only used as a "cool" accessory on suave older men).

From the guys perspective, they aren't going to understand because 1: she never expressed her feelings, and 2: they are teenage boys (naive and dumb, just like teenage girls) and won't be able to infer her feelings for them themselves. So they just let her go because all they see is a girl acting irrationally after approving of the behavior and helping them get another woman. After they realize she isn't interested anymore, they respect her choice and don't bother her, but the girl still tries to get her to come back because in some way she feels bad about stealing them from her when she didn't intend to. She recognizes the protagonists feelings and wants her to be able to be with them, but also doesn't want to stop what she's doing. So yeah she's still selfish and still the villain.

This is a childhood friend cuckquean story. The inverse of the stories where men get their childhood girl friends stolen away. It's not any deeper than that, the author just chose to make her angry about it rather than pathetic, submissive and compliant, which was kinda fresh. Doesn't mean she's happy she lost them or capable of easily moving on. It's also open-ended for the possibility of a sequel where she comes around - or goes into a massive slut phase to "get back" at her childhood friends, which might be interesting also.

That's only part of it. The other part, and especially I was talking about in my comment, she didn't want to do those things. She wanted to hang out with the boys she loved, even if she didn't really see it that way. She wasn't particularly interested in the sex stuff, it was just part of what they did. She says, and makes it clear, throughout that she doesn't want to participate in the things that Kana does. Even in the beginning they comment about her not having orgasmed, and she doesn't seem to care. Throughout the whole comic, the only thing the boys do is sex. Invites another girl to karaoke, sex. Sees her in the hallway, sex. They're "childhood friends", but their only interaction is the clubroom. They did not want the same thing she wanted.

And then they physically restrain her, and rape her, over and over. After they were done abusing her, they left her there. All the instigator could do was talk about "next time, next time". Not even so much as an apology, or asking if she was okay. Yeah, it's not deep at all. She wanted friends/boyfriend(s), dudes just wanted to jizz. Got cucked by her classmate.
