Pose at pg 35 is cringe but I like everything else about it. The humor reminds me of Bbaalbuddy and the artstyle looks rough sketching but as clean as Yusuke Murata's.

I am conflicted, on one point we have a setting a little more original than the common fantasy manga, and I love muscled and strong female characters , on another side this go too far on the gruesome. Rape and torture are in my opinion distastefuly used. It made me think of those manga that are over the top edgy with over the top villainous character and show as much as revolting detail as possible. Don't get me wrong, a world can be dark and unforgiving, but it can be showed a lot better. The artist doesn't seems to have a lot of experience so I hope he will be more careful about those subjects in the future and not turn his manga in some twisted torture/gore porn fest.

I do want to say, it’s a bit hard to care about the cast when most of them just aren’t on the level. There’s too much escalation and jobbing I don’t know when we’re supposed to find anyone we’re going to stick with for more than three chapters. If it was just an OP lead fighting cool fights it would be fine like Fist of the North Star, but even that has a lot of additional characters that Ken directly cares for. Ramia can’t carry a bland cast on her own, and we need a proper baseline as to what to expect from the rest of the world.
