Why is Garlic so strong? He got tossed into the Makeo, then into a prison cell where he seemingly rarely moved. Where did all the extra strength come from?

@xxicexx - The other worldly cameos are essential to this story, because if you want to make Beerus, Whis, Grand Priest or even Zeno feel uncomfortable, you bring in enemies even the Gods of Destruction will struggle against to create tension. By having Beerus and Whis hanging around all the time, it removes all tension, because you know everyone will be fine.

Also, go back two chapters. The 2nd Android 18 appeared with her clone during Gohan, Videl, Zangya and Piccolo's training and is implied Android 21 was responsible for cloning her.

@Nintyfresh - Like LordVukodlak said, this is chapter 11. Go back to Chapter 1 and start from there.

@ssj782 - It's clear Garlic Jr got a massive power boost since being sealed inside the Dead Zone. He obviously broke out and, according to Chapter 6, it was revealed he was caught stealing valuable minerals and gems by the Galactic Patrol, so it can be implied that his theft of these items will play into his current level of strength.
