I honestly don't mind either way. I'm willing to give AI works a pass if they maintain a solid level of quality, creativity, and actual effort on the maker's part.

Assuming this really is AI, the maker still took the time to write a scenario, design the page compositions, brainstorm suitable poses/shots for each panel, and maintain consistent quality in the generations while assembling it all into a fully realized doujinshi. Even if the AI does the heavy lifting generating the images for each panel, it's still orders of magnitude better than just having it spit out hundreds of low-effort images with zero artistic vision.

You're correct, I believe either on the Fanza page or the Pixiv preview for this work, the author mentions that this is indeed made partially with AI. IMO this is actually the correct way to use AI, speeding up the process of creating the work, while only sacrificing a bit of quality and having some minor weirdness in a few of the panels. Overall this is far and away one of the best One Piece doujins, the style is dead on, cute Nami and Luffy interactions that are very believable, Nami actually being horny and getting a few orgasms in instead of just being raped by a bunch of dudes.
