However this MC I do dislike. Never really thought much about the teachers but this kid who became a shut-in after being rejected (and not in an overly dramatic way either, yes was laughed at by what looks like 2 people, maybe a small handful more, but not shown), only to be given a pretty perfect girl and at the end, possibly more. Yes, but it's not like she turned him down in a humiliating terrible way. Or anything even remotely bad.
He was only laughed at by that guy that tricked him and another guy.
We didn't see if it went any further than that. So yes, it could have been spread around the school and had many people laughing, spreading rumors and making fun of him, but that wasn't ever shown.
We don't even know if that guy who tricked him was a friend that he trusted and would then feel devastated at the betrayal or if it was just a random school mate.
There is almost nothing shown on why this kid became a hikikomori, why he's so good at sewing (was that something he was made fun of too?), why he may feel he wants revenge.
Especially revenge against girls, since none were shown to be treating him poorly.

Just saying. Even a single panel showing something that would have triggered the trauma, showing a small scene, would have helped make one feel empathetic for his situation, but no, none of that this time.
