Seven years late I am, but the cover is by Shinano Yura. Same artist who drew page 3.

If you want to know how I know, refer to the bottom-right corner of the cover page where it says 表紙イラスト:しなのゆら

Before anyone asks, for those who are curious about who drew page 2, it says (again in the bottom-right) Illustrated: なまもななせ which is Namamo Nanase if you're unable to read hiragana.

Everyone ought to learn hiragana and katakana, btw. It doesn't take long, if compared to how long it takes learning all the kanji, grammar, and words in Japanese. You can do it in a month or two if you study casually (faster for serious study). And many artists use these in their pen names, like the two artists I've mentioned in my reply.
