Only in Japan. People usually doesn't make their historical figure into video games. It might attract unwanted attention from their government. Only Japanese that crazy enough to turn historical figure into females and make ero doujins about them.

Actually the book "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" (this game based on) is pretty fictional.
Interesting and epic reading but I wouldn't call in "historical"
