No, GIF is not the future. The aliasing fucks up the details and the dithering fucks up the colors, especially for the still images. This isn't even nitpicking or demanding. All the artist had to do was download a plugin and save in aPNG format instead of GIF. Or use flash.

This is still an excellent work and I applaud the effort. The product is great; it's just the release format that's shit. Like the anime industry and shitty bluray mastering.
