XPDF tools are the extraction part, yes, but you'll also need something to strip anti-extraction protections from the PDF so you can use those tools. That's GuaPDF, also included in the mega archive. The whole point here is to stop the practice of screenshotting PDFs here on E-H when tools to properly rip them have existed for years. I want to make them more accessible, to make more people aware they exist and how simple they are to use. :)

Aye. Saw the GuaPDF part in the folder as that was easily searchable on Google. Was unsure on whether or not the XPDF part really was XPDF until you gave the confirmation. Some of us don't use Windows, so I had to look online to see if they had Linux versions. Luckily, both do! Heehee.
