I know bringing logic into hentai is silly but still found counter intuitive and humorous that the teleport trap teleported her TO the bottom, rather than out and away from the place. Suppose just karma for the naughty elf.

Which doesn't make sense in that the teacher wouldn't be trying to limit exposure in that case.

Possible, though again logically that kind of a teleport doesn't make sense, instead it should be a teleport to somewhere far away, or a holding cell or something. Though I agree that not much point in sweating the details, I just found it funny that her luck would be that bad.

@Astearic It could have been less of a trap and more of a security measure of preventing any parasites from escaping the room. No parasites = exit freely. You're infected? Back to the bottom you go.

Well, her face at the end was great. Karma. She essentially was trying to escape from her duties and steal valuables from her master. Considering how much firepower her master had, in her hands, it could've caused worse harm. And she'll probably (eventually) get rescued.

I find it odd that her gloves and boots weren't filled with her mana though. You'd expect her to have some magic on those as protection. Not that those protections seemed to work that well against the tentacles.

And that trap reminds me of those board games where you have to reach the end and usually you have to land an exact number on the dice or die in order to win. Usually there is a "return to start" tile near the end.

As to the discussion on that last spell, I think it does kind of make sense if it was a trap. The first spell made it near impossible to find in the first place. The second spell, the trap, made it so that if you did find it, you'd be stuck there. I assume it was a conditional trap spell where it would only activate if certain conditions were met such as trying to leave with a crystal or trying to leave with a parasite or simply going up.

Or it could be like one trap in a game where it is inactive at first, but activates when you reach a certain point due to a second trigger that activates/forms the first trap. Essentially, you go in, you are fine. You go in a bit further? Still fine. You go to where the important stuff is? It keeps you inside. (Those that know what game/server I am referring to would know exactly what I mean...)
