From the guy's pov, her status as a tengu -let alone an apprentice tengu- is, at the very least, questionable. Then she says what "should" be almost no trouble for a Great Tengu like him, probably isn't for her. So on the one hand, she's delusional but is at least used to living on the mountain (seemingly) without much trouble which means it could be possible for him to survive there too. On the other hand, she's actually a tengu and it's an either-or on whether that last bit is her teasing and just wanting to screw again before getting help for him, or if the mentioned "hop" is actually more difficult than one would imagine for an apprentice tengu.
