I'm gonna give this 3 stars. Don't get me wrong I do like this but there are some issues

1) The first 8 pages weren't necessary if the story started off with the kid just running from the teacher we as the readers can assume that the kid had done something he shouldn't of to warrant the teacher to come after him or better yet start with page 8 for a dramatic effect.

2) The thugs never even seemed interested in the boy in the first place. They probably would have beat the shit out of him and then be done but the teacher had to come up and basically escalate it further

3) The main characters never put up a fight or even put some licks in.

4) I don't know if this the author's style but there is not a single thought bubble there's only dialogue. Like instead of fucking gasping on page 12 the boy could have thought of anything like "oh no" or "dat ass"
