Check the posting date. Boruto:NNG is a pretty new series and still ongoing.

Sumire hadn't been revealed as the secret main antagonist of the first story arc yet when this posted, never mind even further back when the artist was putting this together. On page 13, he even calls her a filler character.

If anything, should we not praise Uzumaki Ani for singling her out as a more noteworthy character even before the show revealed she would be?
