Are there pages missing? Cause half the story has absolutely nothing to do with the spider. The entire story from page 5 onward could be from an entire different story and the reader wouldn't be able to tell.

@piyin Sort of in-joke. Zdemian has this log 'character' with a face that women find irresistible. The lump there isn't it, but in the same shape, hence her confusion when she finds it is just regular wood.

@imercenary despite the name, it was never really about the spider. More about the dynamic between the other two, especially since Zdemian already made a sort of 'sequel' to this comic continuing their adventures.

Then why is the title based on the spider? Why not just split it into two different stories?

It just feels like the two parts were combined so it wouldn't get expunged due to too few pages.

That said, I like the artist's other works but this one just feels... incomplete.
