I couldn't help but notice that the lines in bubbles are aligned a little odd. Are you perchance typesetting individual lines separately for some reason? Or are they all left-aligned and you're using spaces to centre them?

Yes. Most of the text is left aligned and centered with spaces since that's the only method I know to make the words fit into the bubbles without overlapping.
