Thank you Zehi for translating this! I couldn't believe I found one of my favorite doujins had been uploaded in English just hours before I happened to look around here. Its plot is even better than what I imagined. Honestly the fact this was made in 2013 astounds me because so little was known about Bertholdt then and Marinconia has him down just like how he later is revealed to be, which is the stronger one of the two both mentally and physically.

The opening with him having a flashback to looking over Shiganshina from being up high is something I've seen in fanfic before and it's a headcanon I love. Also hitting the target with a "you pass" is eerily similar to a later even in canon. Marinconia has ESP. ;) His monologue about trying to forget and focus on being a soldier paired and blocking out the painful things, then paired with Reiner's telling him this was their only break from having to be soldiers is beautiful. Especially because that's what happens to confident soldier Reiner at the end of this, who only allows himself to be totally himself for Bertholdt.

I absolutely love when Bertholdt starts crying while he and Reiner are fooling around, Reiner comforts him, and Bertholdt regains his composure before taking control of the situation, and being the one to suggest they go further. And from the few doujins and stories I've read that include or allude to them having sex around the age they broke the walls, Reiner's always the instigator and in this case it was Bertholdt, the randy devil. Which knowing what we do now I think is very IC for them.

Ooooh okay Bertholdt telling Reiner to swallow and then licking up his come was oh my god wow. Reiner so damn vulnerable and Bertholdt just taking every last bit it is so raw and intense ugh ugh. Teared up at the end and "no one can come between us even when we've made enemies of the entire world." They deserved to be happy. ;_;

Ahhh I've read a lot of Reibert stuff and this is one of my all-time favorites I could go on and on and on. I knew it was something special and a lot more than just something to jack it to even before it was translated.
