I remember first reading through this series as it was being translated. Having never read the original series proper but being impressed by what this doujin series had to say, I ended up getting into Negima through Negimaru just to get everything else.

There is a beautiful irony rereading this now, with what was confirmed in the series proper. That being CHISAME WON!!!!!
