I received a message from Shuragyoku Mami saying she wants me to delete this gallery... Can some people help me make her understand that having her doujins translated to english is the only way for non-japanese speakers to be able to read it, and that it's a good advertising for her works abroad ? Before I start working on her doujins, who knew about her works ?
If you bought one or several from her books, can you say it there so that she can understand people are supporting her work even if the scans are online ?
If we don't convince her, I fear we may not be allowed to release her works anymore...

Thank you so much for all the effort in translating all the doujins of this couple~ the art is so beautiful as always thank you for your hard work , I started buying doujins by the artist you translate their works because I really enjoyed the doujins which have a slight shoujo feeling to them , keep up the good work, hope you will get Mami to understand that if english readers can't read her doujins they won't even consider buying as for japan market otaku buy in comiket I am in big doubt any Japanese will use English sites such as e-hentai.

Not happening unless she files a proper takedown. If she doesn't enjoy the free advertising she gets here, that's her problem.
I'm considering quitting all support I give to Asian artists if they follow that kind of mindset, including direct support which is most of it. (100% guaranteed to artist.)

We have enough Westerners pulling that butthurt storm on us, and even more so now that Commiefornia makes them feel even more entitled.
And no, EH is not Paytreon police so people on that platform who feel like their rights are being violated can go take it elsewhere.

A common policy in scanlation groups - for the sake of politeness and limiting "sales damage" - is to wait until books are sold out, then another month or so (auction sales/mail order), but paywalls ruined that and are making a fuckton of money off the wool of the artist while the artist thinks of them as demigods or something. Only decent Asian paywalls are worth your money if you ever plan to support an Asian artist, especially the 0% cut campaign ones. (100% goes to the artist for a limited time, but even so, the cuts compared to "that other platform" are pretty low and no exchange fees for them.)

That aside, thanks for the release and just ignore the artist's rant.

It's pretty rich for an author making money off of someone else's intellectual property to complain about people translating and sharing her works online. If this were an original work, I could understand (though not agree, because I believe it's ultimately to their benefit, free advertisement and all), but this is a work of fan fiction based on someone else's work...

Shinko - The newest translated gallery of her works has my in depth comment, but I'd like to mention: I did exactly what you said and showed her that not only I, but many others support her.

The message I received back was (tl;dr) pretty fucking abhorrent. As long as this moron keeps making "parody" "doujinshi" of already existing IP's and copyrights, I wouldn't feel even one single ounce of remorse for translating them in english. She didn't just say she didn't care about western people supporting her art, she actively told me to tell everyone to fuck off and stop sharing her work or supporting her.
