I'm not so sure about Patreon right now. They have some NSFW rules that seemed to have been implemented this spring. At least from what Hennojin stated on twitter: https://twitter.com/Hennojin/status/990607518895230977 (their Patreon page seems to under review right now though who knows what that means...https://www.patreon.com/hennojin). TBH, I was actually wondering why their releases suddenly stalled. Seems they had to switch over to a crowdfunding style for each work on a completely private site.

This reminds me of the crap about Paypal not being usable to fund this site.

That said, I would talk with the users you mentioned as well as chung2795 about what it's like using (or not using) Patreon nowadays.

Other than that make sure you have tiers for people with a dollar if they just want to view things early and higher levels for those that want to request specific doujin/works to be TL'd each month or such.
