A garage kit production guide produced by Hobby Shop Lark, produced around the same time and fashion as Tamiya's Moko-chan model kit guides.

Hobby Shop Lark was a model kit corporation dealing in manufacturing, storefront selling, wholesale and retailing both kits and tools. Their original forte was on models based on SF shows with giant robots and monsters. Lark's productions included resin cast models, metal cast models, sofabi models and original injection plastic kits. They were well known for their Ultra-series of garage kits and impressive Maser tank injection kits. Currently, all of them are Out of Stock and have not been produced in decades, outside few hard core fans making recasts now and then.

Hobby Shop Lark was established in 1983 with stores in Kichijoji and Obo, and operated the Kunio Okawara Fanclub, hence the special thanks at the end. In 1987, Lark was changed into Wave Corporation Limited, dating this book around 1985. They've become an established company in the modelling scene, as they've run Super Modelers establishment in joint store with ArcLight, Media Works and Charaani in 2007. The store, however, was closed in 2009, but kits can be still be ordered online.

Wave still exists and you can visit their HP at https://www.hobby-wave.com/

A book from 80s, cool. Everything is handwritten and it didn't lose colors on the cover, great find.
