From what I'm seeing I can guess this.

That there's a forest that contains a unique entity that can eat and as it does it grows larger and larger. When it meets a being with proportions it's able to attach to that being and morph into body parts fusing with the being and causing it to act as if it's a natural part of the body. Apparently if done right you can create new body shapes with it and change your body as you please. THey come off but not sure how. I can't put up a bounty but I'd love for this to be translated so I know what's going on, it seems like a very interesting and usable premise.
