The story itself is still good, what devolved is the characters designs which twined too much with money and sales problem to the point that many of them literally got designed just for being new doujin bait(eg. Xuanzhang with that exhibisionnist costume that have the in-universe reason that she got trolled by Goku and thought that the cloth was from Nyourai, Raikou which Raita literally copy paste his og doujin char from, Boudica with unexplain sex slave outfits even though she is suppose to be the symbol of women’s right, and lots more.)
