Got bored and took a look at one of my first commissions in Mid-December of last year. Since I've been on a kick screwing around with photoshop lately, I said "Eh, what the hell" and started messing around with this comic and started tweaking the dialogue...which soon lead to me screwing with other things too.

Anyway, I'll be tossing up the remaining pages of this after I finalize the edits/dialogue for them, but for now, here's the first part of the "Director's Cut" of Culture Shock.

For the most part, these edits are for shits and giggles, NOT because I don't like how the artist at Palcomix initially did on this comic. I just altered Raven's skin and hair color to be closer to her normal coloration, along with the general script adjustment.

And finally done, pretty much. Feels like I'm still missing one or two things, but I don't think anyone's gonna nitpick.

Nice job on the color fixes, but in all honesty - the dialogue changes aren't all necessary. Some lines are an improvement (like additional dialogue on pages 2 and 3) but in others the dialogue just feels more clunky compared to the original ("why are you offering to buy me medicine?").

Was shocked recently to find out females never lose their hymin and for most if they are very wet and want it there will be no bleeding even the first time. The hymin gets stretched out the next few times and never gives a problem. Blood is from not being ready or the rare female with a overgrown hymin and there it tears. Sports and other activities can rip it for blood or stretch it open for easy first time access as well.
So the Hymin is just the vaginal opening not a freshness seal. Also make virginity tests bullshit. Also explains why some tribes did vaginal abuse by basically making the entrance tiny so that blood would always occur.
