I never understood which "standard" ppl use to tag something as gyaru or not. Not saying that this one is a gyaru, but i've seen lots of similar works with similar females tagged as gyaru. Someone care to explain? I'll appreciate it.

@tearsax The standard is fashion, common traits are artificial tans, bleached hair, decorated nails, heavy makeup, and false eyelashes. The tag defines itself as a fashion where someone tries to look as un japanese as possible but that's a tad vague. Other stereotypical cues are baggy socks, stylized school uniforms like skirts, and the sweater tied around the waist. I'd call the girl here a gyaru, despite the lack of make up and tan she dress like one, and in terms of personality she is described as a sort of prep school girl or at least in that cliche.
I.E. the girl has to breath, BECAUSE IF SHE BREATHS SHE'S A THOT
